Polyethylene oxyde (PEO, Mw 4kD) is spin- coated on a standard surf to form a 4-nm thick film. At room temperature, crystallites are nucleating and growing progressively into a dendritic structure. The 3D image displays the dendrites. Their average thickness are measured at 4 nm using Sarfus®. |
