BILIPID LAYER (thickness: 5nm) MEASURE IN IMMERSIONCollaboration: MP.Valignat, O.Theodoly, INSERM, Marseille, France Sarfus Benefits: Direct visualization and measurement of the sample in water with an optical microscope. Bilipid layer obtained from a vesicle blown up on the surface of an Immersion Surf by addition of salt. The layer is observed in real-time in a glucose solution. The thickness measurement of the layer is 5nm (6nm before optical index correction) and is in good agreement with values in literature. |
